ECO Logging with SmartInspect
Holger Flick just announced a beta version of a logging class for SmartInspect to log ECO objects. For those of you who have never heard about ECO, it’s “an application framework that allows you to take applications from design to implementation in a much shorter time.” It’s a .NET framework that originally shipped with
DelphiC#Builder and is currently being prepared for a broader release by CapableObjects, a newly founded company that took over the development of ECO. Holger does a very good job explaining what ECO is and how it can be used to speed up the development of database applications. His new logging class definitely looks very interesting for ECO logging as such highly abstract frameworks tend to be harder to debug than normal projects.
