SmartInspect 1.3 released

If you are a .NET, Java or Delphi developer, please take a look at our advanced logging tool SmartInspect.

We just released SmartInspect 1.3 with support for the Borland Developer Studio 2006 (including Delphi 2006), complete log levels in all three libraries and templates/snippets for popular IDEs like Delphi, Visual Studio and Eclipse. To learn more about the changes in SmartInspect 1.3, please visit our What’s New page.

One change that is not listed on the What’s New page is that we’ve discontinued the SmartInspect Personal edition. I will write another post this week explaining the reasoning behind our decision. If you are playing with the thought of upgrading from the Personal edition to SmartInspect Professional, use the ‘Check for Updates’ feature in the Console’s Help menu for a little special offer.

Does your discontinuation effect the Personal License agreement? I just want to be sure.

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

the Personal license agreement is not affected by the change. If you already have the SmartInspect Personal edition, you are free to continue using it (although there won’t be any updates).

    Regards,
    Tobias

OK thanks. If our team is desperate for a change then will have no choice but to by the professional version :) I guess at some point we will.

    Thanks
    Andrew
