Erick Sink has a great blog posting about trademarks, copyrights and software patents. In case you don’t know the differences between those three legal terms, read his blog posting. I have often seen people on discussion boards being confused about intellectual property laws (e.g. people often think you can copyright an idea). It’s great Eric wrote such a posting so it’s possible to point people to this easy to read article in the future.
