Nick Hodges just published an interesting article about the future of the Delphi and C++ compiler. The article states that a preview version of the 64-bit compiler will be available in mid-2009 and the final version is expected to be available sometime mid-2010. Although this is quite a change in the roadmap, I think Nick did a good job explaining the reasoning behind it. It will be interesting to see the reaction to this from the community. [via]
